How to get there

The best airport to fly into is Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) — it’s the main international airport, located about 15–20 minutes from the city centre and most hotels or riads.

There are direct flights to Marrakech from most major cities in Europe and the Middle East. If you’re flying from further away, you may need to connect through one of these hubs.

Once you land, you can reach your accommodation by private transfer, hotel-arranged pickup, or official taxi.

Private transfers are the easiest option (recommended) — most riads and hotels can arrange these in advance and will meet you just outside the terminal.
Taxis are available at the airport, but it’s best to agree on the fare before you get in.
Ride-share apps like Uber do not currently operate in Marrakech.

If your hotel is in the old town (Medina), note that taxis can only go so far — many riads are tucked into narrow pedestrian streets. In that case, your hotel or riad will usually send a porter to meet you at the nearest drop-off point.
